Journeys: An Adoption Story
By Doctor Drew Buell
Every adoption is a unique journey. Some journeys were planned from long ago. Some journeys start without a moment’s notice. This is the story of four adoption journeys.
In less than 39 months, four newborn siblings began their adoption journeys and were eventually adopted into loving Christian families. Two of these little ones were born with special needs. Two of them were rescued from the grasping clutches of the abortion industry. None of these pregnancies were planned and none of the families who adopted these children had any idea what an amazing journey they were in for.

We are not decended from fearful men
By Doctor Drew Buell
The 1950s were a time of almost unprecedented fear among Americans as a result of McCarthyism. In the midst of that pandemic of fear, one man had the courage to speak out. His name was Edward Murrow. On March 9th of 1954, he gave an address to the nation that is just as relevant today as it was then. In that address, he uttered these famous words:
We will not walk in fear one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason. If we dig deep in our history and our doctrine and remember that we are not descended from fearful men – not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associated, and to defend causes that were, for the moment unpopular.
It is once again time that American Christians remember that "we are not descended from fearful men." Our ancestors resolutely refused to live their lives in fear. Rather, they risked their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor in the pursuit of a country that would not live in fear. This short collection of five sermons that were preached during 2020 will help remind you of that precious truth.

Membership Matters
By Doctor Drew Buell
Every time we gather together as a congregation, we remind ourselves, and we remind one another, of who we really are. Gathered worship is a haven where we are regularly invited to hear the voice of God as he whispers to our hearts, “Yes, these are your people. This is where you belong.” And when individual Christians begin to collectively hear and feel that sense of belonging together, they intuitively know that they have transcended their own individual Christian lives and have become something even greater, a body. Not only that, but a body made up of many members. In Membership Matters Pastor Drew Buell helps us to think through what matters in Church Membership.

I Still Do
By Doctor Drew Buell
In I Still Do, Pastor Drew takes us by the hand and walks with us through the beauty and struggle of lifelong commitment. Drawing from Scripture, personal experience, and pastoral insight, he offers encouragement for those just beginning their journey and for those who have weathered many seasons together. This book is not a manual, nor is it a memoir. It is a call to covenant faithfulness—a reminder that, by God’s grace, we can keep saying I still do even when life is hard and the road is long.
