"I Am Beyond Hope…There is No Way Out”
Today I’m continuing a series of posts that I’m calling lifelines. These will will be short posts meant to address pressing concerns that all Christians face from time to time. My contention in this series is that when we encounter suffering and sorrow in this life what we need more than anything else is a lifeline to hold onto. These passages of Scripture are meant to be just that.
Jeremiah 32:37 – “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?”
There are many different kinds of troubles in this world. Some troubles develop gradually over time and some troubles rush upon us like a flood. Some troubles are worrisome but manageable and some troubles are so overwhelming that there seems to be no way out. It’s in the midst of these kinds of troubles that we need to be reminded that whatever difficulty we may face, God is able to help. When faced with troubles that seem to leave no room for hope let God ask you this one question, “Is anything too hard for me?” and be encouraged.
